Basia Trzetrzelewska, (el nombre se pronuncia Bashia y el apellido, dejémoslo ahí) nacida el 30 de septiembre de 1954 en Jaworzno, Polonia, fue junto a Mark Reilly y Danny White la fundadora del grupo Matt Bianco.

Tuvo éxito a nivel internacional por medio de canciones mezcla de jazz y pop finales de los ochenta y principios de los noventa especialmente en los Estados Unidos, Japón e Inglaterra.
